Kitchen Notes – Three Attempts in Gangneung brings together sourdough bread, Nürnberger bratwurst and Hong Kong style egg tarts through learning, making and sharing food. Learning directly from two local bakers and a sausage maker formed part of the project. Self-issued certificates, signed by the craftspeople, record those learning relationships.

The exhibition
Cooking tools, photographs, prints and food tasting performances bring the practical work of making food into the gallery.

Learning from others
Photographs and certificates record encounters with the bakers and sausage maker, alongside the food prepared through these exchanges.
